Update on request for documents and criminal records for Cubans living abroad

This week, from Collective Law Firms of Cuba, especially from the specialized services (BES), they provided an update on the request for Civil Status and Criminal Record documents for Cuban residents abroad.

If you reside abroad, you should know that you have the opportunity to request documents issued by the Civil Registry Offices of any province in Cuba, as well as Criminal Record Certificates from the Central Registry of Sanctioned Individuals.

This procedure is valid regardless of the location where you are, and the documents will take effect outside of Cuba once requested, indicated from Collective Law Firms in Villa Clara, through a publication in Facebook. But the service is offered equally in any province of the country.

  1. Good afternoon. Once the Criminal Records have been requested for a Cuban resident abroad, how is the delivery of the document guaranteed if they state that this service is not included? How should the interested party proceed? Thank you very much. I look forward to your response as you have always done.
