According to Dayamí Armenteros Rule, delegate of Ministry of Tourism in Villa Clara, 80% of the 371 passengers on the inaugural flight will be transferred directly to hotels in Santa Maria Key, while the rest will combine their stay with nature excursions y city tourism.
Flights from Portugal, Europe to the Cuban airport in Santa Clara starting this week
For its part, Lester Roberto Bello, general director of the Santa Clara Airport Basic Business Unit, announced that starting in June it will be reactivated Madrid-Santa Clara air route, operational until the end of September, further strengthening the connections with Europe especially with the Iberian Peninsula
This route from Madrid to Santa Clara opening next June will also be operated with Iberojet planes.
