Copextel employees detained with 400 pounds of beef

Dos empleados de la empresa estatal COPEXTEL fueron arrestados por agentes de la policía en el municipio de Urbano Noris, provincia de Holguín, al ser descubiertos transportando un cargamento de 400 libras de carne de res en un vehículo de la compañía.Los detenidos han sido identificados como Yurisel Candela Quevedo y Michel Téllez Torres, aunque aún se desconocen detalles acerca del origen de la carne y las circunstancias que llevaron a la policía a interceptar el transporte ilegal de estos productos cárnicos.

The incident has sparked various reactions on social media, and many have shown interest regarding the fate of the seized meat. A resident of Holguín expressed concern about the feeding of children in local schools, suggesting that the confiscated meat could be used to improve their meals.
