Dollar, euro, and MLC exchange rates: Today's exchange rate in Cuba

El mercado informal de divisas en Cuba no ha experimentado cambios significativos en las últimas 24 horas. Se mantienen las tasas de cambio similares a las del día anterior, según los datos proporcionados por el Toque.
Currently, the euro is still trading at $375.00 CUP, tras haber perdido 5 pesos hace dos días atrás. Por su parte, el dólar estadounidense continúa valorado en $365.00 CUP sin dar signos de aumento hasta el momento. Por el contrario, en grupos de Telegram como MLC Exchange, dedicados a la compraventa de divisas en Cuba, se encuentran ofertas de compra y venta con valores más bajos, algunos en torno a los $350.00 CUPPor otra parte, la moneda libremente convertible (MLC) sí se mantiene anclada en torno a los $300.00 CUP, as if it were a breakeven point. At least for now.

It is important to highlight that the exchange rate shared by elToque is an approximation of the average values of currencies in Cuba. It is calculated based on offers published on social networks, and not on transactions that actually take place. These prices are also not homogeneous throughout the country, since currency buying and selling obeys the law of supply and demand, and is influenced by factors such as the urgency of the sale, the amount of currency, and the denomination of the bills, among other elements. It is very likely that the current value of the dollar in Cerro is not the same as in Bayamo, to give an example.
