300 euros and a job: this town in Spain is looking for residents

This town in Spain is looking for residents. It continues to give opportunities to those who want to migrate to the European country, in search of better life options. Now, a town in Andalusia, with jobs and rents of 300 euros, offers you this chance.

The municipality of La Estación de Linares-Baeza, located in the province of Jaén, in Andalusia, is an enclave full of possibilities in the heart of the "Spain emptied".

With only 1,206 inhabitants, this quiet village stands out for its strategic location, surrounded by a sea of olive trees, between the regions of La Loma and Sierra Morena.

Its train station, the most important in the province, connects directly with Madrid, while its proximity to the highway ensures easy access to the rest of Andalusia and neighboring communities.

Despite the high unemployment affecting Linares (21,91% in 2024), the municipality of La Estación de Linares-Baeza is looking to revitalize itself through new economic initiatives, according to the web Infoemplea2.

Among the areas with the greatest potential are rural tourism, agricultural innovation and the supply of local services such as restaurants, pastry shops and ice cream parlors. In addition, the municipality offers advice to facilitate the arrival of new entrepreneurs and residents.

The town has basic services such as supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers, gas stations and hairdressers, as well as a residence for the elderly and bank branches.

The food market, with vacant stalls, and the low cost of rents (300 €/month) or purchase of homes (from 30,000 €), make this place an attractive option to establish businesses or a residence.

The municipality is also home to wood, biodiesel and biomass companies that demand workers, while the presence of Spain's only operational internship center expands job opportunities.
