Cuban Electric Union Authorities (UNE) deny through official channels a piece of information that has been re-shared on social media, related to long blackouts on the island.
The Electric Union (UNE) of Cuba denied through its social media accounts the recent false information circulating about a supposed total blackout of 72 hours on the island.
The UNE "clarified" on his X account (formerly Twitter) that "it is false that there is a plan for a total blackout in Cuba for 72 hours".
According to the report, this news is false, and was originated in media outlets opposed to the Cuban government, and they aim to create confusion and concern among the population.
The spread of this type of rumors occurs in an already delicate context, marked by the effects of two recent hurricanes, medium-intensity earthquakes, and an energy crisis that has been worsened by the tightening of the US economic embargo, which has affected the island for over six decades, they said.

It's a shame and an outrage the reasons and arguments they use to justify the unjustifiable. They have gone over 60 years without replacing a nut in the industries, which, given the level of ignorance, stupidity, incapacity, and poor management, are the results.
All these are news stories that try to harm life in Cuba, we have problems, no doubt, but the promoters of this are worms supported by the USA who are afraid to come and fight for what they so much claim to want. True, many lies, but keep in mind that "THEY SHALL NOT PASS" worm-like creatures
Look, read the official gazette issued on November 26, 2024, Chapter VI, where it states that there will be blackouts of up to 72 hours. They published it themselves, and they lie to each other.
