ETECSA denies this information circulating on social media

The only Telecommunications Company in Cuba (ETECSA) denied on the night of July 10 a piece of information that was circulating on social media and labeled it as "fake news." The entity warned its customers.

According to the message, they asked for Attention" and they detailed that "FALSE INFORMATION about disruptions due to maintenance actions is circulating on Social Media. We reiterate to customers that all official information can be obtained on our institutional profiles or by consulting the website.

It is not the first time that ETECSA has had to deny false information linked to them; in fact, recently they even reported through official media that there were pages plagiarizing them and charging for international recharges, and they did not see that currency, reporting million-dollar losses.

In short, according to the Cuban telecommunications entity, there are no expected disruptions, as the false message details, neither due to "planned maintenance" nor for any other reason.

ETECSA denies information and launches more offers

Other offers from ETECSA this month. Cubacel, the telecommunications division of ETECSA, is offering discounts on online purchases until July 14. The promotion includes a 5% discount for purchases made with the Mi Transfer Wallet and a 2% discount for payments with bank cards through Transfermóvil.

The offer is valid only for purchases in the CIMEX MLC (Freely Convertible Currency) commercial network. Promotion details can be found in ETECSA advertising, which emphasizes: "Offers you can't miss. Make your purchases with discounts. 5 with the Mi Transfer Wallet and 2 with bank cards through Transfermóvil. Only available until July 14.

Yesterday evening, they also launched another international top-up, from July 15 to 21.

From July 15 to 21, if you receive through our international distributors from 500 CUP to 1250 CUP, you multiply your recharge by 12 and get unlimited data from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 30 days," it reads.

It is also true that when you make a recharge, for reasons beyond the customers' control, it expires after 30 days and you spend all the time searching for the connection or coverage, but they neither give you a discount nor an extension, as it can be called.

  5. bueno, dice ETECSA que esa información es falsa, pero lo real es que el día 11 y 12 de Julio ni móvil recibía un alerta que no tenía internet. Que casualidad. Yo soy Administrador de varios grupos literarios de poesía y cuando intenté acceder a Facebook, me salía el letrero que no tenía acceso a Internet. Hay alguna explicación factible y viable que me digan y no de que esa información era falsa. Tengo datos móviles con paquete comprado, no es falta de saldo. Pueden darme respuesta. Es mejor decir que si, truncaron la Internet por el 11 de Julio y ya. No dar esa explicación inverosímil que a quien la lea le molesta, porque esos dos días no había quien se conectará, sin embargo, hoy me conecto bien. Que casualidad. Por favor, Marti dijo que la palabra es para decir la verdad, no para encubrirla.Creo que una institución que se respete, respeta a los demás y solo ve la verdad, no.el engaño.

Evidentemente algo esta pasando, las conexiones esta pésimas, tanto por Internet que por comunicación normal, casi tengo que subirme en la azotea para poder realizar o recibir una llamada normal, pero el tiempo pasa y cuando se cumplen los 30 días pierdes megas, dinero y todo, tengo hace casi dos meses el teléfono fijo y el nauta hogar roto lo he reportado en todos los niveles y nada,

  11. si no están reparando ni haciendo nada, por qué razón en el país la conexión está tan mala.Antes yo me podía comunicar con mis familiares fácilmente desde mi casa, de hace un tiempo para acá tengo que ir a un parque para poder comunicarme con ellos.Creo que merecemos una explicación, porque esas cosas disgustan a cualquiera.

  14. Haaa pero no se preocupen en ETECSA por esa noticia falsa si al final la conexión últimamente siempre tiene problemas. Así que tranquilos que de ser verdad o ser mentiras ya estamos acostumbrados a las afectaciones por la propias limitaciones que tiene ETECSA QUE me imagino que también sean por el bloqueo y el recrudecimiento de este con las 163 medidas impuestas por el gobierno de Trump y Mantenidas por Biden.
    Mi corazón está con los trabajadores de ETECSA.
