Además, Bartlett señaló que Jamaica ya firmó Memorandos de Entendimiento (MOU) con varios países, incluidos la República Dominicana, Cuba, México y Panamá, y que actualmente están en conversaciones con Colombia para continuar avanzando en esta dirección del turismo «multidestino».
La embajadora de la República Dominicana en Jamaica, Angie Martínez, expresó su gratitud al gobierno jamaiquino y destacó que la eliminación del requisito de visa es el resultado de casi dos décadas de trabajo diplomático.
