Migrants who entered with the CBP One application must leave the United States, according to an official order from the government of Donald Trump, who has already moved on to the next phase after liquidating the program and the status of those who arrived in the United States with the humanitarian parole.
Thousands of migrants who entered the U.S. legally by using the CBP Oneimplemented during Joe Biden's administration, received official orders in the last few hours from leave the country immediatelyas confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The decision was communicated through e-mails sent to the beneficiaries of this migratory tool, created to facilitate legal entry by means of scheduled appointments at border crossings.
As of January 2023, more than 900,000 people were admitted under this modality, obtaining a temporary stay permit for two years, which included authorization to work.
Donald Trump's administration, on its first day in office, cancelled the CBP One app, renaming it as. CBP Home.

In addition, it launched a campaign to revoke legal status of thousands of migrants who benefited from Biden-era immigration policies. Authorities urged migrants to voluntary self-deportation using the same application with which they entered the country.
"The end of these clearances is a promise fulfilled to secure our borders and protect national security," DHS said in an official statement, shared by several news outlets such as the Miami Channel, Telemundo 51.
Social networks have also been flooded with screenshots of the email that the migrants received, with messages such as: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It is time for you to leave the United States".
The use of the humanitarian parole under CBP One was a cornerstone of Biden's immigration strategy to channel migration in an orderly and secure manner. However, the Trump administration contends that this policy contributed to worst border crisis in the country's history.
With this revocation, it is also anticipated the end of TPS (Temporary Protected Status) for hundreds of thousands of migrants of all kinds in the United States.
