The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) reports telephone service interruptions due to scheduled maintenance.
Por su importancia, reproducimos íntegramente el mensaje de la empresa:
Como parte de las tareas previstas para garantizar la disponibilidad de nuestros servicios, durante los próximos días se estarán realizando varios trabajos en las redes de telecomunicaciones.
While these technical actions are being carried out, there may be an impact on the operation of the services, so the work will be done during periods of lower voice and data traffic.
In this regard, we inform you that on the early morning of March 18 (12:00 AM - 6:00 AM) work will be carried out on the 3G network in the province of Havana and some areas of Artemisa and Mayabeque. In the following days, work will continue in different regions of the country.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and reiterate that these interventions are essential for the operation of the services. If you have any questions, you can contact us through the company's official customer service channels.

I would like to know the situation with the own cards, the operators of 164 say that work is being done on that platform, it has been more than 10 days and there is no concrete response from Etecsa.
That is not true, in Cuba the networks are always under maintenance to improve the connection, too bad they never succeed, each time the connection is worse. Restart the phone, put it in airplane mode for 20 minutes or switch it to 3G and nothing, those are the instructions from Etecsa.
It's just that if Etecsa and the so-called management haven't failed yet, the communication services are miserable and very expensive; they might as well quit their jobs.
Hahaha, who is going to believe ETECSA that it is scheduled or unexpected maintenance, this is because of the elections, they are blocking communications until this is over
