Update from Aguas de La Habana on the restoration of service

The company Aguas de La Habana has reported on the efforts to restore the water supply in several areas of the Cuban capital, following electrical problems that affected its supply sources. Although the system began to reactivate, difficulties still persist in some areas.

The Paso Seco supply was energized yesterday afternoon, although it still faces faults in its electrical infrastructure.

The Electric Company is working to resolve these failures as soon as possible. Priority measures have been implemented to ensure the supply of water through tanker trucks to hospitals, evacuation centers, transit communities, and other essential services.

Gradual restoration of service in several areas

Throughout the day, several water sources have partially or fully restored pumping, while others have experienced interruptions. Below is a summary of the restored services:

  1. Aguas de La Habana doesn't know what to come up with to justify its inefficiency, the Palatino tanks are full of water and now the central municipalities depend on the southern basin, and to top it off the only electrical grid that has not been restored is the one that supplies Luyanó, as it is the only area in Diez de Octubre that has not received water for 6 days.

  2. Sorry, I didn't understand.
In my comment, did I say something unworthy, rude, vulgar, lying, or another inappropriate term?
Why didn't you publish what I wrote?
I am from Santos Suárez and even before the hurricane passed, the power was cut off and actually the water too... how long do we have to wait?

  3. Hello everyone.
What a regrettable situation ours is (the people).
Even before the hurricane passed, they cut off our electricity and actually the water. I would like to know if all these situations are part of a destabilization strategy, because if that is true, they are succeeding.
Never since the company AH has made an interruption have they ever sent us a tanker as an alternative, and you know what, we can't take it anymore. End this agony and restore the supply to those most affected... the town.
We are from the Santos Suárez neighborhood

  4. The seeds are something abstract here in Lawton since Monday they haven't put them and nothing, absolutely no seeds. But it doesn't matter, resist, they are testing how much a human can endure.

  5. Where is the situation of La Gabana del Este, Villa Panamericana where there has been no water for more than a week and no water trucks either, they never say anything about this municipality, because I have seen several and only write about one, and this is the responsibility of Aguas de la Hab and the journalists who write this report.
They just need to solve the water problem and they won’t have to make this report.

  6. The ones who are really always the most affected are the Clients of Cuenca Sur, I believe more work should be done on their maintenance.

  8. In my house, at 66 and 11, Playa, Havana, no water has come in since 11/4/24. Since the cyclone, no more water has come in. My neighbors and I no longer know what we are going to do without water. We need to know when they will restore water in the area and also that they help us.

  10. Please be informed that the supply source El Gato, which supplies Habana del Este, has been restored. Why is there still no service in Alamar?
Grateful for the great effort of the Electric workers, builders, and Aguas Habana, and all those who are currently working on the gradual restoration of services. Thank you. Our recognition for your work.

  11. They erased Playa from the map, I don't understand why they don't give an explanation since Tuesday they haven't supplied the deliveries of Cubanacan or Romerillo. Is it valid to file a complaint through this channel?? I don't understand how there can be 4 days without water and not even the representatives of the Playa municipality have bothered to bring water trucks to supply the population or give any explanation or solution.
