According to the reportThe maximum impact of the previous day was 1,749 MW at 7:10 in the evening, coinciding with the peak demand time of the system.

The engineer explained that the disruption occurred due to an unexpected increase in demand compared to what was forecasted. "Today we expect a 1,450 MW disruption at noon and 1,726 MW at the peak demand of the system," he detailed. Despite this situation, a slight improvement is expected compared to the previous day.

One of the factors that could favor electrical stability is the distribution of fuel to the floating power plants located in the Bay of Havana. "Fuel is already being distributed, which will allow these two power plants to be available for today," reported the Electricity general director.

Additionally, it is expected that by tomorrow the Mariel and Moa plants will receive the necessary fuel for their operation. "Tomorrow the availability condition should improve significantly," assured the specialist, who emphasized that the system will benefit from the start-up of these facilities.

During the day of March 5th, distributed generation will also receive fuel in order to improve availability. However, a high impact forecast is maintained at noon due to the start-up process of the engines in the floating power plants. "For the system's peak demand, these engines will already be fully operational, so a reduction in impact is expected," explained the Cuban executive.

  1. Everything is a lie, it seems they enjoy seeing a whole town plunged into misery. They talk about human rights violations and treat a whole town like animals. They talk about scarcity and buy a $10 million plane. They talk about fasting and their children go to parties with all kinds of food and excesses. Where is the concept of fidelity revolution, I believe they buried it with him. Where is the manifesto of October 10th. Here everyone is a parasite, no one cares about anything, blackouts for the people and luxuries and power for this corrupt government. They donate money to repair the electrical system and it gets lost in the full pockets of the leaders. But if we say these things, we are subdued and imprisoned. This government spends more on posters and events than on medicine and improvements for the people.

  5. It's true, we know there are problems, in the West only the good is given, the bad is for the East, everyone knows that the big blackouts are ours.

  6. I think the main problem is the poor planning, organization, and control by the provincial electric company of Pinar del Rio when it comes to circuit rotation. There is no plan for rotation, as evidenced by blocks experiencing more than 24 hours without power while others are minimally affected. I believe it is time for the country's leadership to take action to eradicate blackouts because the situation is now out of control and the people are quite tired of not receiving a response. We have been dealing with supposed maintenance for almost 3 years now. While there are external factors at play, the main issue lies in the incompetence and lack of commitment from the electric company and the country's leadership. No more excuses, just a solution. The morning report has become an excuse for blackouts rather than a solution. Thank you.

  7. I don't know what the improvement is because in Caibarien block C we were without power for 21 hours from 3 in the afternoon on Tuesday until 12 noon on Wednesday if that is an improvement, I really don't understand anything.

  8. More of the same, whether it's the floating ones, the fuel, a breakdown that needs to be cooled down to identify, the unexpected breakage, and to top it off, those that are in planned repairs and maintenance. Right now in Cruces, Cfgos province, we have been going for 16 continuous hours and surely we are going for more.

  14. What is being experienced is difficult and they still say that today we will have improvement. Sometimes I think that Lázaro does not suffer from constant power outages because the situation gets worse every day, and they continue with the same daily report that I no longer know if it is from today, yesterday, or a month ago.

  15. If power outages were distributed equitably,
There would be fewer hours of disruption; there are places with more than 20 hours of power outage per day, we have even reached 23 hours.

  16. It is true that the economy in Cuba is not very good. We are still suffering from the unjust blockade imposed by the United States. However, there are friends from other countries who are providing us with help. Russia sent a ship with enough oil for the power plants in Cuba. They also gave Cuba 2 million dollars for the repair of the power plants. Many people are going without food because they do not have gas cylinders to cook.

Don't be so abusive and so dishonest, it's clear that all these rulers have conditions here in this country there is discrimination with the people who can't even eat because they can't cook and they all seem like fat mules that don't even fit their shirts speak the truth well and the little French woman of this one who claims to be very humane to Cuba put some heart into it he hasn't said it anymore because he doesn't have it.
