They deny rumors about the opening of beaches in Havana for the summer of 2021

The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana denied rumors about the opening of beaches in the capital for the summer of 2021. 

This was announced Canal Habana at Twitter this first of June:

The First Secretary of the Party in Havana, Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, clarified that until the epidemiological conditions improve, the current restrictive measures will remain in place and denied rumors that beach areas would open in the summer.

At the moment it is not approved, given the high levels of contagion of the epidemic," explained the leader at the daily meeting held by officials of the capital.

Let us remember that the influx of people to the capital's beaches in phase 1 of recovery, after the first wave, was one of the biggest problems in the area.

Is tourism in Havana paralyzed?
