In a message on the social network X, the consular office in Cuba announced that, due to high demand, new appointments will be available for transcribing local Cuban marriages at the Civil Registry of the Consulate.

In this regard, they encouraged users who have not yet been able to schedule their appointment to try to book a slot "during the next few weeks," without specifying a date.

As a note, they emphasized that it is NOT necessary to register the marriage at the Consulate to apply for a spouse visa. It is enough to present the Cuban marriage certificate as proof.
