You can now receive motorcycles purchased abroad with Correos de Cuba: provinces, costs and requirements

Cuba Post continues the delivery of imported motorcycles by customers via sea. Learn about the process, provinces of delivery, costs in CUP and USD, and available service channels.

 

The Correos de Cuba Business Group has published information important related to the distribution of imported combustion motorcycles Cuban Directory Share this important message.

The Correos de Cuba Business Group continues the distribution and delivery to recipients of motorcycles with combustion engines, purchased abroad by interested customers, who bring them to our country by sea through agencies that have a contract with the International Mail and Exchange Company (EMCI), a service that has been offered since March of this year.

Motorcycles are paid for at the origin by the sender in USD, and additionally, the recipient must pay the service to Correos in Cuban pesos, and also in dollars for the service and the "Customs duties"

Currently, they are being delivered in:

  • International Courier and Money Transfer Company (Vento and Camagüey, Havana): To recipients residing in provinces from Pinar del Río to Matanzas.
  • Villa Clara Post Office (Santa Clara): To recipients residing in the provinces from Cienfuegos to Camagüey.
  • Holguín Post Office: To recipients residing in the provinces from Las Tunas to Guantánamo.

Motorcycle values in dollars at the Cuban Customs

  • Electric scooters with sidecar: $200 USD per unit.
  • Electric motor with accessories for remotorizing vehicles: $950 USD.
  • Combustion moped with sidecar: $950 USD
  • Combustion moped without sidecar: $850 USD
  • Electric or hybrid tricycle: $550 USD.
  • Light trailer: $300 USD.
  • Motorcycle sidecar: $100 USD

    Okay, picking up the motorcycle costs almost the same as in the store.
    I bought a used car. It's hard to get it out. 10 bills or more.

    • Brother, you can buy it at Cubamax agency and they will take care of delivering it to you. Once here, you have to go to Havana, but then they will bring it to your doorstep. Visit the Cubamax website and you'll see your friend can buy it from there at that agency and send it to you with them.
