Check your tickets! Two Fantasy 5 winners with tickets purchased at a Publix in Florida

Over the weekend, two winning tickets for the Fantasy 5 game, each valued at more than 50,000, were purchased at different Publix stores in Florida.

The tickets, each with a prize of 51,934.76, were purchased on Sunday at Publix locations in Delray Beach and Winter Haven.

According to a statement from the Florida Lottery, "although any Florida Lottery retailer can validate the winning ticket, the FANTASY 5 jackpot must be claimed at a Florida Lottery District Office." The game FANTASY 5 is a pari-mutuel game where players win the jackpot by matching the 5 winning numbers in any order. Cash prizes or a free Quick Pick ticket can also be won by matching two, three, or four of the drawn numbers. If there is no jackpot winner, the accumulated money is distributed among players who match 4 out of 5 or 3 out of 5 winning numbers. The deadline to claim the main prize is December 23 at midnight.
