Do you know the details of Cubacel new promotion?

The Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A. (ETECSA), will carry out an international recharge promotion from September 6 to 11, 2021, called «Win additional bonuses of 2 GB + 50 Minutes (Min)».

This promotion consists in that each prepaid customer who receives an international recharge during that period – equal or higher than 500.00 CUP and up to 1250.00 CUP – will receive additional bonuses of 2 GB + 50 MIN. These bonuses will be valid for 30 days, counted from the recharge received.

For example: International recharge equivalent to 500.00 CUP = 500.00 CUP of main balance + 2GB + 50 minutes.

 

The following are the main details of this promotion:

The recharge amount must be 500.00 CUP and above for this offer to be valid. Below 500.00 CUP and above 1250.00 CUP this promotion will not apply.

The additional bonuses (2GB + 50 minutes) are independent of the amount of the recharge, that is, the customer will get the same additional bonuses, whether he/she recharges 500.00 CUP or 1250.00 CUP.

These bonuses (2GB + 50 min) are valid for 30 days, counted from the recharge received. The main amount of the recharge does maintain the established period of validity (330 days).

The minutes bonus (50 min.) can be used for national and international calls and SMS (including Entumóvil SMS), respectively.)

Customers who have active BONUSES of MONEY and SMS from previous promotions and acquire this new offer, will have the expiration date extended to the validity of the bonus acquired with this new international recharge promotion, bearing in mind that now the bonus is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt of the recharge.

Customers who have active BONUSES of Data and Minutes from previous promotions and purchase this new offer, will accumulate with the bonus corresponding to this promotion and the expiration date will be 30 days from the date of receipt of the recharge.

The bonuses (2GB + 50 min) cannot be transferred to another cellular line, it is only for the consumption of the line that was recharged. They can only transfer the main amount of the recharge, if they wish to do so.

Customers who have current DATA plans (all networks and LTE) and their corresponding bonuses and purchase this new offer, the expiration date will be extended to 30 days, counted from the recharge received, with expiration time 23:59 hours of Cuba.

As soon as the promotional recharge is valid, the priority of the discount for the DATA will be:

First it is discounted from the daily purse, if any.

Then it is deducted from the national bonus.

International recharge bonus (2GB).

Active data packages.

And lastly, from the main balance.

A customer can make multiple recharges, as long as he/she does not exceed the maximum amount established for his/her main account and for the bonuses.

As long as this condition is fulfilled, you will be able to recharge and you will receive the sum of the main balance and the associated bonuses. If these figures are exceeded, you will not be able to continue recharging.

A customer can receive several recharges during the promotional period, this will increase both the main balance and the bonus amount. For the completion of the bonus, the last of these recharges will be taken as reference and 30 days will be counted for its validity, counted from the last recharge received.

After a recharge has been made during the promotion, the user receives notification of the status of his/her main balance and activated bonuses: «Your account has been recharged with XX.XX CUP. Transaction YYYYYYYYYY. Bonus: XXXXMB, XX min. with 30 days of validity counted from today».

If the customer makes a call, or sends an SMS, and exceeds the money available in the bonus while performing these operations, he/she will be automatically charged from his/her main balance, thus ensuring that the communication is not interrupted in both cases.

The client will receive a time threshold SMS when there are only a few days left before the expiration date of the bonus.

The bonus inquiry is done through *222*266# or *222*BON# and the main balance inquiry continues to be done through *222#. Both queries are free of charge for the customer.
